Works for me… sounds like an interesting idea, as well.
It worked just fine. I assume you have to have QuickTime?
It’s not a bad idea if it helps create content that might otherwise not make it to the page. I would hate to see you replace any of your normal content with it though. I can’t imagine that you could be anywhere near as concise with the audioblog as you would be in print.
It should work with any media player that supports mp3s.
As for replacing regular content – not a chance. This would just be for doing the occaional remote update where a computer isn’t available (ie the All Star game)
It works now. Sounds great.
billfer. it worked great on a Mac, opened in quicktime. maybe a pic to go with it or getting it to open in a separate player window w/only audio controls would be a better experience…or a giant olde english “D” faded watermark background
Worked fine for me. It sounds like a good idea for a special event like this.
Go for it!
Worked just fine here. I agree with Jeff M. I Look forward to reading the page as well.
It worked fine with me as well, playing on Windows Media Player. I like the idea of audio blogs from events like the All-Star Game to give readers a little flavor of the event. Creative stuff. And hey, if somebody blew up the FOX network truck and the game couldn’t be televised, we’d have you for updates. 🙂
Do it! Do it! Do it!
(worked fine for me– I’m running Safari on a Mac)
I say run with it, Bill.
