Cameron Maybin rates 3rd. Also included on the Tools list, On Track list, and Stay away from the trainer list. Jurrjens in “on the rise” and Miller “has graduated”
While I like the BA list more then other lists I’ve seen, I just cannot justify Maybin at No. 3. I still think until he starts driving the baseball more he should fit in the 12-18-ish range in terms of prospects in baseball. I know I would take Clayton Kershaw and Evan Longoria over him right now if we’re talking best prospects.
Hmm, I think I’ll take BA list at its word instead of the almighty musings of Mike R.
And I’ll believe Maybin is a top 5 prospect when he stops hitting Ground balls 61% of the time or striking out 1 out of every 4 AB’s. Those GB’s are Luis Castillo territory.
