Jackson Melian was a homer short of the cycle. Nick Trzesniak (?) hit a homer and a single. Andrew Kown allowed 6 runs, 3 earned, on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Not really a good way to start a doubleheader. Cameron Maybin and Justin Justice each had 2 hits. Kyle Sleeth allowed 8 runs, 6 earned, on 9 hits in 2 2/3 innings including 2 homers.

And not really a good way to end a doubleheader either. The Flying Tigers managed 5 errors over the 2 games. Wilkin Ramirez had his first tough game in awhile with 3 K’s. Shawn Roof was 2 for 3.

Gorkys Hernandez and Brennan Boesch each had 2 hits. Jonah Nickerson allowed 10 hits and 5 walks in 7 innings, but only 3 runs scored.

Mike Sullivan and Justin Henry each had hits. Paul Nardozzi allowed a run on 4 hits and a walk and 2 strikeouts in 4 innings.
