So. Carlos Guillen’s just hit two home runs off of Chad Durbin, and so has Magglio. Only one for Maggs though.
It’s not Chad Durbin, it’s J.D. Durbin, whoever the heck that is. Odd, though, that the Phillies have two pitchers named Durbin.
Yeah they just changed it. It said C. Durbin through the first four innings…
Chad’s in Philly, right?
Getting Sabathia would be fantastic, but I’m hard pressed to see how that happens, unless Ilitch decides he wants a $150 million payroll. What a 1-2 punch that would make with Verlander, tho.
The Yankees are going to sign Sabathia and Teixeira in the offseason, and then I will light my eyelids on fire.
Yeah, Chad Durbin caught on with the Phillies. I think he was arbitration eligible for the Tigers, so they let him go.
There are two major leaguers with the last name Durbin and they both pitch in Philly. I looked and saw J.D. was born in Portland, OR and Chad was born in the Midwest somewhere, so it’s doubtful that they’re related.
