Curtis Granderson has been activated and will be leading off and patrolling center field. Just like old times. The only person in Detroit to view this as bad news is Clete Thomas who was sent to Toledo to make room. Thomas did well for himself and made the most of his time with the big club. A 298/338/393 line isn’t too shabby for a last minute roster addition who didn’t figure to be in the Tigers plans.

Lets ……… Go ……….. Grandy.
A single, a double and a few RBI’s tonight !!!!!
I’d settle for the single and two stolen bases on those sore legs
Hats off to Clete – he did the Tigers proud with his turn in the Show and I suspect we’ll see more of him before all is said and done this season.
Attaboy Clete. Get yourself some more at bats and when the experiment known as Jacque Jones has ended I hope you get the nod.
Give Jones a chance, he’s been playing well of late. Had a shot last night that would have been a homer in any park not named Comerica.
Ditto on Clete, though, he did great filling some pretty big shoes for us while Granderson was out. Good to know he’s down there in case Curtis isn’t quite as ready as we hope.
