With Tigerfest right around the corner, that means the Winter Caravan is about to hit the road too. This year the team is sending out a Metro Bus and a Detroit Bus. Some events are open to the public, as denoted by the “open to the public” phrasing. Just the boys are too busy to make a public stop this year in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area but are fine with Brighton….
Looking for Grand Rapids on the schedule and find it…nowhere. I guess the state’s second-largest city and home of the Tigers’ Single A affiliate pale in comparison to Spring Arbor, Albion, and Kalamazoo, home of, well, an IHL hockey team. Makes sense to me.
Leyland and some players are coming to Toledo for some sort of dinner event on the 21st, but from what I understand, it’s a play event – like $50.
