PECOTA has the Tigers winning the Central in about a fifth of the simulation scenarios.

A look at prospect Rudy Darrow

And he runs like Pudge now. The Polanco decision will be an interesting one and a lot will come down to how Scott Sizemore and Michael Hollimon fare.

Tomi not only is a UM cheerleader (Go Blue), but she also mentions that her best feature is her smile and she's a Tigers fan. And there is a photo gallery. And she's pre-med.

I just hope he doesn't try it more than 15-16 times.

Remarkable story about Carlos Guillen and some of the personal struggles he faced last year. It's hard not to like this guy.

A while back (when I had more time for writing about the Tigers) I wrote a preview piece for Razzball. It's up now, with one of my favorite video clips.

I think Tomi Tomson is my new dream girl.
Thanks for the link to the Guillen story – it just makes me love the guy even more.
A little word of warning, though guys – if you follow that Razzball.com link you’ll wind up seeing a picture of a shirtless Jim Leyland. What in the world was going on at that photo shoot? Yikes!
And it’s just not fair that the lovely Ms. Tomson looks like that and is studying to be a brain surgeon (as opposed to single-handedly curing E.D.)! I’m going to assume that somebody alerted Billfer to her presence, not that he spends his free time scouring the internet looking at hot cheerleaders just on the remote chance that they’re Tigers fans.;)
Guillen, after Inge, is my Tiger
That one of Leyland was an edit by Samara I believe – it isn’t his body, although it’s a darn good job
LOL Bill aren’t you a married man?
Anybody who is interested in some fantasy baseball fun, and I mean fun fun fun (I said it thrice so you KNOW it is true) please let me know… I have a several highly competitive leagues and I’m looking for some ppls with good yahoo! records/somebody who REALLY KNOWS THEIR MLB STUFF – if this is you please lmk – the leagues are very simple and as realistic as I could make them… they draft at the end of March and are about half full atm
Hey Bilfer et al, Tonight (Monday) at 8pm on the new MLB network our Detroit Tigers will be profiled for an hour on the show 30 Clubs In 30 Days. Here’s a link to the schedule. http://www.channelguidemagblog.com/index.php/2009/02/17/mlb-network-debuts-30-clubs-in-30-days/
Watch ’em if you got ’em!
I’m loving the MLB Netwok. Can’t wait to see what they say about the Tigers.
