Hi Bilfer…Thanks for the good update. Also, this past week our hometown (Vicksburg) hero Justin Henry, 2B put together a much needed six game hitting strike at Erie!
The AP is reporting that “Tigers plan to call up Sborz” – i’m not following the logic on this one unless, they plan on starting Bonine or someone else out of the pen…
I would guess that Sborz will be up until Perry is healthy again. This would then move one of the capable Long Relievers to the rotation like gonzalez/coke/thomas/bonine to the rotation.
Jon Paul Morosi is saying the team will call up Andy Oliver to pitch Friday in Atlanta. Very exciting, I will be at all three games.
I heard that Porcello went 8 IP with only one unearned run allowed for Toledo tonight. That is encouraging. C’mon Ricky, find yourself a strikeout pitch down there otherwise it’ll be more of the same. I’m very curious to see what Oliver can do tomorrow in ATL.
