Kevin,
I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for taking over the site after billfer resigned. I hope we can keep it going next year. For some strange reason I have not been particularly interested in committing 3 hours of my life to Tigers baseball lately. However, I am looking forward to the off-season and attempts at improving the team. Hopefully we’ll get some good discussions going here after the WS.
Thanks Vince. I love doing it. I’ve got a running list of off-season topics and I’m looking forward to some insightful discussions.
Scherzer has been worth every penny. Can’t wait to see what’s in store next year.
love our starting pitching down the stretch. pretty solid top 3, but we need to be better than bondo and galarraga at the back end. i’m not convinced Oliver is ready yet, but he could be a decent #5.
nothing better than beating White Sox.
Thanks from me, also. But how much longer will billfer keep the site up? Have you heard? I don’t think I’m giving away any secrets, but billfer has joined the staff of TigsTown as an associate editor. MowtownSports.com reported that earlier in the month.
Congrats, Bill!
He hasn’t mentioned anything to me. My understanding was that it would keep running through the foreseeable future. If he decides to leave it altogether, I’m sure we’ll be able to work something out.
It’s why I haven’t posted for awhile. Not knowing how long the site would be up, I’ve tried to slowly wean myself off. It’s hard to do. It has always felt like family here so I’m trying to make new friends in case I lose the ones here. Pretty shameful admission, but true.
Well, I’ll be here until billfer refuses to allow me pay to keep the lights on. I’m sure we’ll see some sort of transition in the off-season, but I don’t see the site going anywhere soon. Still the best place for intelligent discussion, IMO. And I’ve looked elsewhere. Nothing else even comes close.
