You knew they would win one at some point on the road trip, but it was still a relief. Casey McGehee had a career day, the Tigers left a buttload of runners on base (I mean butt in the sense of an old English unit of measurement, 1008 pints if you’re curious), when they weren’t getting picked off or thrown out (they only needed a runner out at 2nd for a cycle). But Boyd pitched himself a game, and the Tigers now actually have a decent shot at taking the series.
Today’s Glass Half Fulmer Lineup:
- Kinsler, 2B
- Collins, CF
- Cabrera, 1B
- V Martinez, DH
- JD Martinez, RF
- Upton, LF
- McGehee, 3B
- McCann, C
- Romine, SS
I predict a big game from the two Macs and the Lettuce.
I’m trying to figure out what Machado did wrong last night. I might have put lettuce in the game but at left field.
What can you say, Fulmer is unbelievable. All that and curley fries tomorrow.
Tigers rookies blank Rangers in two straight games! Who would have thought tat possible!
impressive!! …in light of the fact that TEX has a formidable lineup…just ask Sanchez.
Tigs, led by my boy JUp put up a 7 spot…Fulmer is as good as there is…3-4-5 pound in the runs..isn’t it supposed to go that way…Rangers are lucky JUp played or it would have been 12…
DET (& Norris SP) will be lucky to get nine in tonight, its definitely going to rain… and probably a lot.
