I only caught small parts of the Futures Game today, but Matt was disappointed in ESPN’s coverage. But he did say that Gorkys Hernandez was 0-1 with a walk and a run. This was good info because I couldn’t find the box score online. Maybe I’m blind, but I couldn’t track it down on the milb.com site which is disappointing to say the least.

It seems every Oneonta game I begin with the feats of Kody Kaiser. Tonight is no different with 2 homers and a double. Casper Wells had 2 doubles and a homer. Justin Henry had 2 hits and 3 walks. Heck, pretty much every body raked in this game.

This was the first, and as it turned out only, game of a doubleheader. The 2nd game was rained out. But in this 7 inning tilt, Wilkin Ramirez was 3 for 3 with a walk. It appears that all the tools are finally starting to come together with his batting average up to 289. He has 10 homers and 23 stolen bases. He still K’s 4 times for every walk so he’s far from perfect, and hasn’t had sustained success yet, but the results for the 21 year old are encouraging.
